With New York City schools closed for the foreseeable future, Chess at Three is offering a new resource: School In-Home. This new initiative will go above and beyond our regular programming to include enrichment activities such as music, crafting, indoor exercise, and, of course, chess. School In-Home is a fun-filled way to continue your children’s education and provide structure to their day.
Chess at Three developed this offering in Hong Kong as a way to provide safe, substantive instruction for children during the COVID-19 school closures. Our tutors will follow strict protocols that adhere to CDC hygiene and safety guidelines before, during, and after all School In-Home lessons.
School In-Home: 3-5 Hours of Enrichment Activities
Hour 1: Chess at Three instruction. Fun, engaging stories that allow children to discover the world of chess! All chess experience levels welcome.
Hour 2: Story Time Music instruction. Inspiring, story-based music lessons for ages 3 and up!
Hour 3+: Arts, Crafts, Exercise. Our tutors will provide entertaining educational activities appropriate to your child’s age, grade level, and interests. Depending on their individual areas of expertise, tutors may offer in-depth instruction in other academic subjects or enrichment topics.
Cost: $100 an hour + car fare (3 Hour Minimum)
