We have a couple new offerings for the summer at our Upper East Side Chess Club that I'm excited to share with you.Morning Chess Camps- Our morning chess camps are the best way to get your child ahead while having fun, over the summer. Each morning we tell fun stories about chess, have great custom chess lessons for your child, and host fun activities that will challenge your child’s mind in new ways!Chess Camp is every morning from 9:30am-12:00pm. We start in the middle of June and we run until September.
Chess at Three is constantly thinking about new and exciting ways to challenge children’s minds while having fun. Jon Sieber and Tyler Schwartz are two life-long Magic: The Gathering players. Magic: The Gathering is not only a great teacher of strategy and creativity but an amazing way for children to socialize with each other. We’re really excited to start Summer School Magic League!Summer School Magic League- Take the next step into strategy gaming by enrolling your child in Summer School Magic League. Magic: The Gathering, a competitive card game, is one of the most recognized and popular games among both kids and adults. Your child will learn how to think strategically, plan and organize in a fun and exciting way, and explore their creativity by creating and designing their own decks to play with! Get your child playing one of the world’s most entertaining and thought-provoking games.Summer School Magic League (SSML) begins Mid June 2019. Classes run all Summer!

Each class will be 2 hours long and will include supervised gameplay with two Magic: The Gathering experts.Each class will have a discussion regarding strategy, metagaming, advanced gameplay, and sportsmanship.Children are encouraged to bring their card collections and will be coached in deck-building and how to play multiple formats of magic.
