Chelsea Crowe is an accomplished jazz/ rnb singer, who is also currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling. She loves teaching chess, but her least favorite piece is the knight. He is just too darn sneaky.

Harlan Alford

Harlan Alford

Harlan loves telling stories, either by performing on stage, writing them down, or by sitting across from children in a chess lesson. Harlan, born in Ohio, learned chess from his grandfather at the age of 5 and has been playing his whole life. He is thankful for the investment his grandfather made in him. Harlan now lives in Brooklyn and teaches chess full time.
